About
Description
This modpack is the culmination of multiple generations of servers. I've created it to cater to multiple playstyles and focus on immersion, adventure, and construction.
It features quests to keep players involved and slow the abhorrent vanilla progression curve. It tries to emphasize exploration with a large amount of structure added from multiple sources. It encourages cooking more refined meals than the go-to steak by nerfing most simple foods in favor of more complicated dishes added from delight-type mods. Construction is encouraged with aesthetic block and furniture mods, as well as infrastructure construction being lightly encouraged with nerfed transportation methods. The modpack integrates multiple tech and factory mods, as well as some light magic themes. You get the point, it has a little something for everyone, and no playstyle ruins the fun for other players.
A lot of work went into balancing: vanilla progression has been slowed to encourage players to craft earlier armors, elytras and boats are nerfed while minecarts are buffed, easy foods are nerfed to highlight food mods, and late-game armor and weapons from certain mods are gutted as not to be obscenely broken. I attempted to balance everything around vanilla progression (Nothing is significantly more powerful than netherite).
While this modpack can be played by anyone, it was only intended to be played with a small group of friends. I'm unsure how it will function in a larger server; the perfomance is already a major problem. Additionally, progression is locked behind a certain server specific item: The Rule Book. Change this quest requirement and you should be good to play.
