Description
Official modpack of the Barofailure gaming community: barofailure.com and Discord. Whitelist for the community server is handled on Discord.
Barofailure is a Create-heavy co-op survival pack for Minecraft 1.21.1 on NeoForge, around 150 mods, built for playing with friends on a shared server.
The idea: automate everything with Create and its add-ons.
Tech: Create is the core of progression, extended by a set of Create add-ons.
World: the Aether, a reworked Nether, and new biomes, structures and dungeons to explore. Distant Horizons is included for long-range terrain rendering.
Survival: temperature matters (Cold Sweat). Sleeping accelerates the night instead of skipping it. Seasons pass over time.
Looks: ships with Complementary Reimagined shaders enabled out of the box (Iris and Sodium included). On a weak GPU, turn shader packs off under Options, Video Settings. The usual performance mods are preinstalled.
Made for a private friends-and-whitelist server, but it runs anywhere.
