Description

🤔 What is Bees and Beyond?

Bees and Beyond is a modpack for Minecraft: Java Edition that attempts to introduce content to the game that doesn't stray too far from what is deemed to be Mojang Studios' vision on Minecraft and its future. The mods are fairly lightweight and are meant to bring in new content that you can easily adapt to and understand, using it to change your perspective on how you play through the game.

🤨 Okay, cool… but what's with the name?

This modpack was initially designed to be exclusive to Minecraft 1.15.2, but as time went on I realised that this modpack would eventually die out and become less interesting as newer versions of Minecraft start releasing. I've decided that I will try my best to port my modpack to future versions of Minecraft where possible, maintaining gameplay and style as close as possible to previous releases. The name stems from this fact, as it was my way of saying "yeah, this is the Buzzy Bees update but with much more interesting content!"

😳 Sooo… what can I expect out of this modpack?

The mods included in this modpack range from small tweaks to improve the game's performance or visuals, to lightly changing gameplay mechanics to make you think about the best approach when playing through survival mode, adapting to your surroundings. You will come across new biomes, mobs, blocks and structures whilst adventuring throughout the world of Minecraft: Bees and Beyond.

Optional Mods

Listed below are a selection of mods I recommend you install alongside this modpack for a better experience. These can range from mods that I either could not include in this modpack due to legal reasons, or mods that I think don't quite hit the criteria for this modpack but are still cool to use regardless.

  • OptiFine - A mod that provides performance improvements for the game, allowing for higher frame rates on lower-end computers. It also provides extra graphical enhancements like shader pack support, higher resolution resource pack support, and anti-aliasing to smoothen the edges of blocks for a cleaner look.
  • Just Enough Items - A mod that allows you to view every single item and recipe featured in-game.

Have you ever wanted to host a Minecraft server for your friends that could be accessed 24/7? Maybe you're looking to start your own minigames server for the general public to enjoy? Well, look no further, because BisectHosting might have just the solution for you!

BisectHosting is a Minecraft server hosting platform, explicitly designed to provide premium quality services at a budget price. They are looking to offer their users affordable hosting for their game servers whilst being incredibly easy to utilise. Rent - Upload - Start! It's that easy!

You can choose between server hosting for Minecraft: Java Edition so that you and your friends running WindowsmacOS or Linux can play together; or the Minecraft Bedrock platform that is accessible across Windows 10, Windows 11Xbox One, iOSAndroid and Nintendo Switch! Best of all? Your server is customizable, and it's completely up to you on how you utilise it! Want to play vanilla Minecraft as it is? Go for it! Maybe you want to run a more advanced server using plugins via Spigot? I don't mean to be a shill here, but why not play Minecraft: Bees and Beyond? That sounds great, right?!

I personally use BisectHosting to allow my close friends to play Minecraft: Bees and Beyond together, whenever they please! I highly recommend this service and I could not thank them enough for sponsoring me during the development of this modpack.

If you're looking to host a dedicated server for your Minecraft needs, look no further.
