Description

SPORE SPORE SPORE SPORE SPORE SPORE SPORE SPORE

The world is sick, it is plagued with an aggressive infectious disease that will not stop until everything is a part of it: the Mycelium. It spreads through the soil, through the sea, and in the air via toxic spores. Many survivors have speculated on where it came from, what it is, and why it's here. Some say it was engineered: a bioweapon. Others suggest it is divine judgment, or perhaps the exact opposite. But it doesn't matter where, or when, or why it arrived...not anymore.

It is with us now. Laughing at us.

In order to survive in what remains of the untainted Earth, you will need to procure resources and construct advanced technologies in order to fend the Mycelium off. Solid strategy, combat skill, base fortification, and cooperation with any other survivors are necessities in this place: and even still, your survival is not guaranteed.

Nature's Mockery is a "mediumcore" survival horde-shooter modpack: it combines quality-of-life features and progression tweaks (that should really be in the vanilla game at this point) with brutal challenges meant to test your patience and resolve.

Every player has ten [10] lives. There is a way to create copies of yourself later on that do not cost a life when destroyed, but other than that: once you run out, that's it.

The goal of the modpack is to escape the planet. Construct a rocket out of earthly materials, and then harvest the Mycelium for it's biofuel. You may need to bait the infection into advancing in order to defeat its more evolved forms, but don't feed it too much!

This modpack is currently in-development! Version 1.0+ will still have incomplete features and bugs. Report any issues with the pack under the Comments tab or submit a Bug Report to my Feedback Form.

This is my first public modpack, so if I make any mistakes or such please let me know!
