About

Description

betafied logo

Thanks for checking out Betafied! Betafied is a Modpack focused on making Minecraft 1.21.1 look and act exactly like Minecraft Beta 1.7.3.

How accurate is Betafied?

Probably around 85% accurate, though there could be some things I missed or are not accurate to Beta. If there is anything you want to point out, check out the "Report issues" Link.

Extra Information

Current Things not done:

  • Create New World menu
  • Settings/Options menu
  • (if possible) make it so the world jitters when near the Farlands.
  • (if possible) make the mobs kind of "jittery" when hit.
  • Achievements screen
  • Some achievements like "Getting Wood"
  • Remove modern achievements

What is currently in:

  • The Farlands
  • No hunger bar
  • No sprinting
  • Old terrain (nearly 1:1 with actual Beta! Only things off are Feature placements like trees.)
  • Classic crafting recipes
  • Ore dropping itself instead of raw variants of Ingots
  • Beta 1.7.3 textures
  • No emeralds
  • 128 build height limit
  • Old lighting system (may not be accurate)
  • No stone variants (Diorite, Granite, Andesite, Deepslate, etc.)
  • Old main menu
  • Old crash screen
  • Instant eat
  • Old mob drops
  • Old mob behaviour
  • No way to enter The End
  • Basically made all new blocks, entities, and items from versions above Beta 1.7.3 unobtainable/impossible to find in Survival
  • Can change tool/item and still mine the block you are currently mining
  • Logs are no longer rotatable
  • Achievement Toasts show up by going down then up after some time

What is the point of this Modpack?

This Modpacks intended purpose is to play Beta 1.7.3 Mods like The Aether that are ported to 1.21.1 without having to edit any Jar files, or just have a Beta 1.7.3 experience with modern Minecraft's stability.
