About

Description

By the time you feel the isolation, you will realize that your experience is anything beyond fear.

This mod, taking inspiration from my older horror modpack (Insomnia: After Dark), corrects everything, and takes horror to the next step, in which is ignoring jumpscares and cliché chases, and doubling down in the horror of isolation, vastness and unexplainable occurrences.

Here is what Beyond Fear will put you through

  1. Immersion: From fog, to sounds, to darkness and to the world, several things have changed, including new structures, scawwy sounds and unnerving isolation.
  2. Anomalies: From disappearing items to lost messages, several unexplainable phenomenon will occur.
  3. Encounters: Was it another player on your world? that is something you will never know, but if there is one thing you should know, is that something was really there.

I would advise you from stay away from caves and forests at midnight if you don't want to feel scawwy! >:3

Do NOT use OptiFine with this modpack.

But here is everything in detail, but be warned, it's a spoiler

  1. Ambiance: Several mods such as Ambient Sounds 6, Fog Overrides, Presence Footsteps, True Darkness, Sounds of the Forest and Sound Physics Remastered makes the experience scarier and immersive.
  2. Isolation: Never-seen-before focus on isolation, using Bad Mobs, little to no mobs will spawn, forcing you into isolation and away from ways to feel safe.
  3. Encounters: Distant Friends, From The Fog and The End of Herobrine (if you choose to include Herobrine in your download), Who's There? and Horror Messages will make you have encounters that are mostly non-hostile, but they are certainly creepy. Starting from The First Update (1.1), there is now The Lurker, in which will spawn unfrequently to attack you.
  4. Gaslighting: Random Disappearing Torches and other mods will work together you twist reality in a way you might not even notice.
  5. Exploration: The Graveyard, Lost Cities and a few others will give you new chilling places to see and explore.
