Bio-Hazard: Project Vanguard
⚠️ Working on 1.1 right now, but it's held up by a Lost Cities bug that's causing bad interactions in city generation. Don't want to ship something that corrupts world gen, so it's paused until that's fixed
Humanity didn't collapse overnight. It crumbled slowly — one abandoned street, one failed checkpoint, one desperate survivor at a time.
Bio-Hazard: Project Vanguard is a hardcore military-survival modpack set in a world where civilization has already lost. Scavenge, craft, build, and fight your way through a landscape shaped by ruin, infection, and desperation.
Quick Specs
Minecraft 1.20.1 / Forge
Solo & multiplayer/server ready
Built around TACZ, Immersive Engineering, Survival Instinct, Survivors Arsenal, In Control, and more
Recommended: 6GB+ RAM
What Makes This Different
Most zombie-apocalypse packs give you loot and call it progression. Vanguard gives you systems:
Tiered firearm crafting — every gun is built through the TACZ Gun Smith Table using custom Assembly Parts (pistol, shotgun, rifle, sniper, SMG, heavy weapon), gated behind an Immersive Engineering material progression. No shortcuts to endgame weapons.
Armor progression — custom crafting recipes for Survival Instinct and Survivors Arsenal armor sets, tied to the same four-tier IE material chain.
Escalating threat — zombie difficulty scales day-by-day via In Control, so the world gets genuinely more dangerous the longer you survive.
Hand-built military locations — airbase, oil rig, nuclear power plant, bandit camp, military bunker, FOB, and a helicopter crash site with escalating zombie waves, all custom-built structures with real loot tables, not vanilla-style copy-paste POIs.
Dynamic airdrop events — high-value loot drops that create real risk/reward decisions mid-run.
Survive the Fall
You begin with almost nothing. Search derelict towns, forgotten bunkers, industrial ruins, and contaminated wastelands as you fight to stay alive in a world that no longer remembers safety.
Rebuild What Remains
Claim a shelter and turn it into a defensible outpost. Reinforce walls, secure supply routes, and prepare for threats that grow as the world deteriorates — solo or with a crew.

Endure the Outbreak
The world is gone. What you do next is all that matters.
A few notes on why I structured it this way:
Specs block goes right up top since that's what filters people in/out before they read anything else
I kept your original atmospheric writing almost entirely intact, just relocated
"What Makes This Different" is new — this is the section doing the actual selling, since it's the only part naming real mods and mechanics someone would search for
Key Features list now names actual systems instead of adjectives, so it doubles as searchable keywords
