Centers around fantasy elements such as spells, rituals, and magical energies, often involving personal empowerment and magical automation.
Includes a little of everything without sticking to any one particular type of gameplay or style.
Introduces player leveling systems with skills and abilities.
Generally has one or more public servers available hosted by the community or developers.
Includes quality of life improvements and small tweaks to enhance and customize gameplay.
Includes systems for trading and managing economies.
Includes educational content aimed towards newer modded Minecraft players, usually guiding the player through specific mods.

Forge is a popular mod loader for versions 1.1+ of Minecraft.

Welcome to Birchfalls Modded Survival! The low resource Modpack! (Runnable on 2GB RAM, recommended 4GB) Our server consist of 45 mods! (not including the recommended mods) Build amazing homes and create insane magical advances all while in the comfort of a bukkit/forge environment. We have plugin and Mod capabilities making our server easy to adapt to as your first modded server! We offer features like /home, /spawn, /kit, and much more, we also allow currency and trading to be part of the game to allow players to start an economy and participate in being a "Wizard for hire" if they choose to. There is something for everyone in our Modpack allowing each user to have fun and explore the world as they see fit! A list of our mods goes as follows

The only recommendation is having to install one mod manually, due to licensing and permissions Optifine could not be included but is vital to allow the pack to run on 2GB of RAM. Please see instructions below
1. Download Optifine 1.7.10 from this link Optifine
2. Run the jar and click extract! Save it to your Desktop you should now have a file that says OptiFine_1.7.10_HD_U_XX_MOD.jar
3. Go to the launcher mod files
For Curse: Click top right with 3 dots> Open Folder> Open "Mods"> Drag and drop the Optifine Mod file. (You can also use this method to add Shaders or Dynamic lights if you PC can handle it.)
