About
Description
Mods can be overwhelming, especially for those inexperienced with the Vanilla game. This modpack is meant to be a transitionary step from a Vanilla server to a Modded server. If you started a server with a group of friends with mixed levels of experience with Minecraft, while the more experienced players are ready to go beyond Vanilla, the less experienced might not be ready to go full bore.
In this modpack, we include some minor QoL improvement mods for everyone to enjoy, some additional block mods for those who enjoy decoration, and some more advanced features for the more experienced players to enjoy. None of the mods included in this pack will change core vanilla features, they will include additional features. Doing so also ensures that things already built on the server won't break.
Current Mod List:
- Just Enough Items (JEI)
- Disenchanting Forge
- AppleSkins
- Pretty Pipes
- Additional Additions
- McCrayfish's Furniture Mod
- Xaero's Minimap (Waypoints only)
The full mod list is still in debate as we determine what is too much for a transitional pack. Some additional types of mods being considered are:
- Another end game dimension mods (Going to look for one that requires end game material that naturally follow after the end game as to not cross over the Vanilla end game)
- Expanded redstone/minecart mods
- Waiting on Pam's HarvestCraft to be released for 1.19 to add the food mod back.
- Additional decoration mods
- Automation mod (Current worry is it might take away too much from the Vanilla experience for new players)
