The world you once knew is gone. You remained hibernated in an underground bunker for decades, isolated from the cataclysm that destroyed the surface. During your slumber, the zombie infestation devastated the Earth, only to be definitively wiped out by the Bosses, who cleared the ruins and put an end to the undead plague.
Upon waking up, you hoped to find an era of peace to rebuild, but the truce was a short-lived illusion. An ancient and deceptive creature, the Doppelganger, emerged from the shadows, taking mental control of all the Bosses who had freed the world. The saviors who wiped out the zombie plague have now become the puppets of a mastermind, ready to crush the last survivors. Your journey begins here, fresh out of your cryogenic pod. To restore peace to this world, your ultimate mission is to eliminate every single Boss and finally defeat the Doppelganger.
