Thanks to the many modifications to biomes, dungeons and structures, you'll experience entirely new experiences that have long been missing from vanilla, requested from communities or at least needed to be modified and improved. We're not just talking about the overworld here, but thanks to YUNGs, Better End/Nether and other mods, other dimensions and the mobs in them are also heavily modified, so there will be no shortage of adventures and fights.

But if you found vanilla hard, you don't have to worry about it being much harder here, just the opposite. There are a lot of Vanilla+ elements that, besides making the base game a little easier, give the rest of the game and the player that nice gameplay feel, and especially the JEI mod, which you must never miss, because it makes your job easier in the overwhelming amount of new items, blocks and their recipes, because it remembers them for you.
