About

Description

Minecraft has always been a game about building. Built in the Walls asks what happens when building becomes the entire point.

This is a survival modpack with exactly 101 mods centered around architecture, construction, decoration, engineering, and creation. The world is still Minecraft. You still gather resources, explore, craft, and survive. But nearly everything you collect eventually becomes another possibility for what you can build.

There are more materials. More bricks. More windows. More lights. More doors. More roofs. More walls. More paths. More furniture. More decorations. More ways to turn an empty field into somewhere that actually feels like a place.

A house does not have to be four walls and a roof anymore. Build cottages, castles, factories, laboratories, skyscrapers, museums, warehouses, fortresses, mansions, workshops, cities, monuments, underground complexes, or something that does not have a name yet. Interiors matter just as much as exteriors. Kitchens can look like kitchens. Workshops can look functional. Libraries can feel inhabited. Industrial buildings can actually contain machinery, storage, logistics, lighting, and infrastructure instead of being empty shells.

The world itself gives you reasons to build bigger. Towns, towers, cities, structures, roads, and ruins provide inspiration, materials, destinations, and places worth rebuilding—or completely replacing with something better. Storage can become architecture. Transportation can become architecture. Power can become architecture. Even the systems that keep a base functioning can become part of the design instead of being hidden behind a wall. And when you finally finish something, you can fill it.

Display collections. Build galleries. Create exhibits. Write books. Construct museums. Design enormous storage halls. Turn blocks and items that would normally disappear into a chest into part of the world around you.

You are not being handed Creative Mode and told to make something pretty. You still have a world to survive in. Resources still have to come from somewhere. Progress still matters.

That limitation is part of the point.

Every wall represents something you gathered. Every room represents a decision. Every tower, bridge, hallway, factory floor, stained-glass window, hidden chamber, and absurdly unnecessary decorative column exists because you decided it should be there.

The world gives you blocks. What you do with them is up to you.
