Couldn't find a light modpack with what I wanted, so here we are. Spooky magic modpack made for small group co-op play and exploration.

About

Description

We were having trouble finding a modpack with Vampirism that had all the other features we wanted, but was still lightweight enough to run on our budget gamer PCs.
So I bit the bullet and put this together. After a few days of bug fixing and fine tuning I've come out with a light weight modpack (~150 mods) that runs relatively smoothly. Smooth for modded minecraft that is.

Basic features:

  • Vampirism/werewolves
  • Spoopy magic mods
  • Monsters to fight with your new powers
  • Enough tech mods for automation and factories
  • Rewards for farming/cooking. (max hp bonuses for eating different foods, up to 410 items)
  • Twilight Forest, The Bumblezone, and The Undergarden for exploration
  • A small library worth of game optimisiation mods
  • A nice shader and some custom models for cows/pigs/chickens/bunnies
  • As much QoL as I could think to cram into the pack!

Use the Essential mod to play with friends, use FTB teams to make a party, and get out there!

Modlist Overview:

Magic:
Blood Magic, Botania, Eidolon: Repraised, Mana and Artifice, Occultism, Vampirism & Werewolves (+addons)

Tech:
Ad Astra, Create (+some addons), Immersive Aircraft, Iron Chests, Iron Furnaces, Mekanism(+addons), Thermal (+addons)

Exploration:
Alex's Mobs, Doggy Talents Next (level up tamed wolves!), Explorify, Gliders, Goblin Traders, Ice and Fire: Dragons, Incendium, Kobolds!, Terralith, The Bumblezone, The Twilight Forest, The Undergarden, Towns and Towers, Waystones

Quality of Life:
Comforts (sleep through the day), Corpse (leave a body after death to recover items from), Easy Piglins, Easy Villagers, Explorer's Compass (locate structures), FTB Ultimine (vein mining+), Jade (or "wailia"), Just Enough Items (+addons), Lootr (each player gets loot from overworld chests), Magnum Torch, Mob Lassos, Nature's Compass (locate biomes), Xaero's Minimap and World Map
