WHAT IS BURDENED SOULS?

Burdened Souls is a challenging and open-ended Minecraft modpack with a world full of dungeons, bosses, and unique biomes. The difficulty scales as you progress, with enemies and bosses getting tougher alongside you. You can choose your playstyle, whether building a base and slowly growing stronger or venturing out as a nomad to loot dungeons. The modpack offers a variety of features to enhance your experience, including a skill tree, revamped combat, and quests to guide you through some of the mods. Playing with friends on a server with at least 8GB of RAM is recommended for optimal performance.  Questbook is set up for both long-term play and speed runs.

Burdened Souls stands out from other Minecraft experiences by offering a constantly challenging world with scaling difficulty, a deep skill tree for character progression, and unique mechanics like thirst and special tools, all designed for open-ended exploration and a focus on server performance for a smooth multiplayer experience.  We have worked hard to ensure performance is optimized for multiplayer servers.

➤ Questbook: (FTB Quests) provides an in-depth questbook and guide to assist you in your progression.

➤ Tinkers Like Tool / Armor Experience: (Silent Gear) provide a highly customizable weapon and tool experience similar to older versions of Tinkers Construct.

➤ Player Corpses: (Corail Tombstones) will upon death create a player corpse that only you can access, preserving your belongings.

📙 Beta Status: Burdened Souls is fully playable, but some mod configurations and quests for new players are still under development. The developers may adjust recipes, remove overpowered items, add or remove mods, and even tweak core gameplay mechanics to achieve optimal balance.

💻 Recommended Specs: This modpack is hefty! While it can technically run on 4-6GB of RAM, a minimum of 8GB is recommended for a smooth experience.
