Description
Calm Journeys — a world worth exploring. A home worth returning to.
Beyond the next ridge lies a valley you have never seen. Off a distant coast, an illager ship waits at anchor. Deep underground, a forgotten city lies silent. And beyond your first portal, another world awaits, with secrets and dangers of its own.
Calm Journeys is a modpack for a beautiful, unhurried Minecraft adventure, alone or with friends. Follow the familiar path of vanilla advancements, grow your first crops, set sail, and discover the place where your future town will stand.
Lush foliage, falling leaves, soft lighting, reflections on the water, and mist drifting through mountain valleys make the journey itself worth taking. Travel by ship, pitch a tent, and mark the places you want to return to. The perfect spot for your base might be just around the corner — or across an ocean.
Your wealth grows with the ground you cover. Capture hostile ports, storm towers, board enemy ships, and explore underwater structures. Chests and barrels in selected hostile strongholds contain extra diamonds, helping one dangerous expedition fund the next. Rare materials, unusual items, and trophies will draw you farther into the world.
Once you find a place to call home, turn your shelter into a thriving base. Farmers tend your crops, ranchers care for your livestock, and lumberjacks supply your timber. Spacious storage, sorting, backpacks, and convenient enchanting help you prepare for the next expedition. Build a home where everyday chores take less of your time, leaving more room for adventure.
Beyond familiar Minecraft await The Twilight Forest, the skies of The Aether, the starlit world of Eternal Starlight, the shadowy Otherside, and the floating islands of Floatlands. Each journey brings discoveries, dangers, and reasons to return home. VoidZ offers a separate challenge for adventurers ready to face its boss.
Your ultimate goal: build a home between worlds.
Establish your base, automate its farms and forestry, and create a network of Waystones. First, reach each main dimension yourself, place a waystone, and activate it. Then connect the Overworld, the Nether, the End, and all five additional worlds through one shared travel network.
Your playthrough is complete when your base has a working, automated homestead and its home waystone lets you travel to every one of these worlds — and back again.
There will always be unexplored lands beyond the horizon. But now every journey begins somewhere: the home you built together.
