Catalyst: Ascendance is a Forge 1.20.1 kitchen-sink modpack for players who want beautiful exploration, deep automation, and a real endgame payoff. Start in Terralith landscapes and custom dungeons, then grow into Mekanism networks, Mystical Agriculture farms, and the power of Re-Avaritia.

Who is this pack for?

You will enjoy it if you like tech progression, stunning terrain and structure hunting, QoL like JEI, backpacks and waystones, and a strong late game after some grind.

It may not suit you if you want a tiny vanilla plus pack, very low RAM, or hardcore survival without powerful tools.

About 170 mods. Works in singleplayer and multiplayer.

Requirements and install

Allocate 8 to 10 GB RAM. Java 17. A dedicated GPU helps with shaders; they can be disabled on weaker PCs. Performance mods included: Embeddium, FerriteCore, ImmediatelyFast, Entity Culling.

Install via Modrinth App or import the mrpack. First launch may take several minutes. Select Mellow Shader in video settings if needed.

Multiplayer supported: use the same pack version on server and client.
