No literally there is a mod to make it darker

Its dark, really dark

It's Exceptionally dark, but you have been given a few tools to help you see in the dark, such as a mining helmet, and threat detecting goggles, you of course have vanilla tools too, such as torches, however, torches burn out, and only special and upgraded torches glow in your hand.

Don't lose your mind

you have sanity now, keep mind of that

it will decrease slowly when you get stressed, and will decrease rapidly in traumatic/intense situations

whatever you do, don't go insane

You take damage on each body part, it's simple.

if you fall, you break your legs

if you get shot in the head, you die
