About:
Celestial Remnants is a quest-based skyblock modpack. When starting your game, you can choose between multiple different preset maps. Quests will guide you through expanding your island and teach you how to use the resources available to you. There are quest lines for teaching you how to start playing, how to use tech mods and magic mods, and quests that require you to get certain items in massive quantities. Completing quests occasionally provides items used in progression, and almost always rewards coins. These coins can purchase custom loot bags. There are currently 27 loot bag types of different categories and tiers.
There are also many custom resources available. All of these resources have Tinker's Construct stats and traits, and can be made into Tinker's tools and armor. Among the added materials are new alloys which are made by combining existing alloys. The end result provides extremely powerful resources that have most of the traits and stats of what they are made from. There are also some scientific-style materials available, like aerogel and graphene.
Some of the most fun I have ever had in Minecraft was playing Agrarian Skies 1 and 2 with my friends 2014-2016. This pack serves as my way to recreate what made that so special. That does not mean this is at all like Agrarian Skies; this pack recreates the parts of Agrarian Skies that I personally liked the most, but that is likely very different for other people.
Keep in mind that items do not get picked up automatically. Either right click them or sneak on them to pick them up. I will add information about this in the starting quest next update.

Continuation of the modpack:
Previously, the modpacks I have made were quick kitchen sink style modpacks just for me to play with my friends. This is the most ambitious project I have done, even if isn't as content-rich as some of the more complex modpacks.
I had many more plans for things to add to the modpack. but I have become less enthusiastic about this modpack than was when I started it in October. I don't want my work to go to waste so I am releasing it now before 1.12 becomes even less relevant. It is still a complete modpack and I will still resolve any issues that are found with it.
I plan on continuing some of my custom content by eventually making a mod. All of these custom items were made using contenttweaker, which limits some of what I want to do. I plan on putting some of the better ideas from the modpack into a mod of their own, but I have to learn more about how to do that. I would have custom models for some of the items, which I have already started. Ideally, I would also be making custom machines for combining items more realistically, instead of relying on Mekanism, Tinker's Construct, and other mods that I have used for that part of it.

Contact me:
To get in contact with me, you can just leave a comment under this modpack, or message me on discord at pawjwp#3605. I may make a server if people actually play this. Feel free to let me know what you think about the pack. If you find bugs, mistakes, or want to suggest something, let me know. Right now, there is not much that would be too trivial, I want to improve whatever I can.

Credits:
In this pack, I have replaced many of the higher resolution modded textures with the standard 16x16 ones. Most of these textures were made by SimplySimon0 his resource pack can be found here. My minor additions to that pack can be found here.
One of the available map presets is based on Morvy's Cottage from the original Agrarian Skies.
