About

Description

This modpack is not guaranteed to be updated frequently or supported.

I created this to have fun with my friends on a small, homebuilt server and may or may not update or maintain this project. That said, I'd like to put it out to the internet at large, because if someone else can also have fun with this modpack, it would be a joy to me.

Alright, disclaimer out of the way. Roll features!

Exploration

This pack collectively adds nearly 100 more biomes, many more structures, and much more rewarding drops/loot for exploration and combat. Climb up to floating islands, tuck your cabin away on a cliffside overlooking the plains, find a dungeon to explore and conquer, go meet the bees, or just sequester yourself away in a cave and ignore all that (if you're boring). Oh, and you have waystones and a map for if when you get lost.

Combat

We have many mods to alter the vanilla combat experience, including but not limited to:

  • Apotheosis
  • Ars Nouveau
  • Silent Gear
  • Just Dire Things
  • Etc.

Blast your friends (or monsters if you can't find any of those) with magic, upgraded swords/bows, or your fists, and defend yourself with new armor types and protection spells. You'll definitely need that protection with the Apotheosis world tier system, which keeps hostile mobs feeling dangerous even into the endgame. Including the bees. Did I mention the bees?

Farming and Base Building

I also decided to include some more homely mods for you homesteaders who don't want all your time to be taken up by exploring. You want to farm, you want to build a beautiful base, and you want to live in peace. I see you, I feel you, and I understand you. So I made all of that more complicated. We have over 160 new crops, a genetics system for farming, meal cooking, forging, blood sacrifice, and upgradeable storage. We have hundreds of new blocks, some of which are prettier than others, great scenery in which to build your base, and shader compatibility to make your base look prettier.

You're welcome.

Optimization and QoL

Obviously, with this being a lightweight pack, several optimization mods had to be included. Fast IP ping, ModernFix, and Sodium are in there, to name a few. Suffice to say, this should run well enough if you have at least 3-4 GB of RAM to allocate (which is priceless in today's RAM market). As long as you're not trying to run those aforementioned shaders.

As for quality of life, we have a lot:

  • An additional gear slot just for elytra.
  • Getting rid of the "experimental features" popup for worlds.
  • Making the fullscreen mode borderless windowed so you can tab over to the YouTube video you're watching in the background.
  • Inventory sorting, because we all know you wouldn't do it on your own.
  • A simple proximity chat so you don't have to hop in a Discord channel with your friends.
  • A popup on the top of your screen so you can figure out what that stupid block is.
  • And compasses to help you find those structures you've been searching the whole two week phase for.

If there's any further quality of life things you'd like in the modpack, leave a comment on CurseForge and I might get to it if I decide to update this further.

If you want to support me, don't. Consider donating to a charity instead. It would make me happy, and you'd get to deduct it on your taxes probably.
