How to update the modpack

If you downloaded it in the Curseforge app

• In Curseforge, press the two arrows pointing away from each other next to the orange Play button at the modpack
• In the window that opens, leave Update to latest version selected and confirm with the orange Continue button

If you downloaded it from the Curseforge website and imported it into the Curseforge app

• Download the latest version of the modpack in the Curseforge app
• Press the three dots next to the orange Play button at the new and old modpacks in Curseforge and then press Open folder
• Move all files and folders except mods and server.dat from the old modpack folder to the new one. Select "Replace this file" when you see the warning that a file with the same name already exists in the destination
• Delete the old modpack

Common issues & solutions

1. Poor performance

• Open the modpack settings and allocate more RAM to Minecraft (e.g. for 16 GB RAM → allocate 12 GB).
• In Minecraft, open video settings, click the square icon to the left of the FoV slider, and lower the render distance and the CPU and quality presets.
• Install Lossless Scaling to interpolate frames for smoother gameplay.
• Upgrade your PC.

2. Can’t join the server

• Verify your internet connection.
• Ensure you haven’t installed any unethical mods (mods that give unfair advantages) or a cracked version of Minecraft.
• Confirm you're using the latest version of the modpack.
• Wait a few minutes and try again.
