About
Description
Charmquark's personally curated pack, for playing with friends, supporters, and miscellaneous (allegedly) important people. A medium-weight pack specifically intended for cooperative multiplayer.
Includes a mix of tech mods with interesting and useful synergy, and the ability to ultimately bend the game to your will. Mekanism to process materials; Ender IO for elegant power and transport; Actually Additions and the Thermal family of mods provide an easier early game for tech and some interesting expansion later. Storage Drawers and Refind Storage mean you can store, sort, and utilize those resources sensibly. Don't worry, there's plenty more besides.
A splash of magic with Thaumcraft 6, to enable some clever solutions to projects, and because it's just plain fun being a blocky voxel wizard. Mystical Agriculture means eventually you can pull most of your resources straight out of the ground like so many potatoes.
Classy utility mods like Tinkers' Construct for better tools, and Tinkers' Tool Leveling to make them even nicer over time. The various Project Red and SimpleLogic mods make redstone neater and niftier. And more quality-of-life mods than you can shake a stick at.
Because you surely want to make all the contraptions, factories, farms, and playpens you build as pretty as possible, and to keep the landscape more interesting to look at, there's Biomes'o'Plenty and various building and materials oriented mods, such as Not Enough Roofs, Flat Colored Blocks, Chisel, BiblioCraft, etc.
Oh, one other thing. There's Pam's HarvestCraft for many, many more food options, and Cooking for Blockheads to help manage all that. Why do you care? Because there's also Spice of Life to make it mandatory. Don't worry, you'll learn to like it. You'll have to.
