About

Description

This is a large, heavily customized modpack, meant to allow for a variety of different playthroughs for both mages and gearheads. General power levels are fairly low in terms of armour and weaponry, so the world should feel dangerous and impactful for a good while.

The pack contains a huge variety of meals and foodstuffs, most prominently from Farmer's Delight (alongside many addons and additions). Additionally, some mods from the Let's Go series and others are thrown in to further round out this aspect. The majority of these dishes can be automated, so feel free to construct enormous culinary factories :)

However, you should pay attention to your calendar, because:
Due to the addition of Serene Seasons, in combination with Cold Sweat, the climate will slowly shift over the course of the year - which takes 96 ingame days, with each season (divided into three sub-seasons each) taking 24 days. While Cold Sweat has been tuned down from how you may have experienced it in survival packs, certain biomes such as Badlands or Ice Spikes should still present a considerable challenge to traverse, much less live in. The nether, in particular, is rather hot as well. Be sure to prepare thoroughly! Leather armour helps greatly as general insulation against both hot and cold weather, and the 'Hearth' block is vital if you choose to live in an extreme climate.

Cinnimon further contains a large variety of magic mods, some of which have been tweaked significantly. These include: Mana and Artifice, Iron's Spells and Spellbooks, Goety, Sons of Sins, Malum and also Ars Nouveau - this last one in particular with severely cut source regen rates, putting it more in line with general pack power levels, and also promoting the use of potions/foods that regen mana. There have also been various thematic and gameplay tweaks, especially concerning Archwood Trees, which can (for example) now only be found in their forests.

As for technology, Create has been included alongside some of its many addons. Notably these also include Create: Armory, Create: Protection Pixel, Create: Guardian Beam Defense and Create: Big Cannons, which should help balance pvp power levels between magic and tech enthusiasts. The mod Trackwork has also been included, allowing you to make create-based tanks, which can even mount cannons! Be aware there is no claiming mod, nor is one intended - so take note of this when designing your base.

There is also Tetra, for all your tool crafting needs.

Beyond that, The Aether, Alex's Mobs and Alex's Caves have been added for exploration fun, Born in Chaos makes for a more hostile world overall, and Enlightend, Unusual End and Endless Biomes make the End dimension a much less barren place. Furthermore, the overworld is filled with structures to discover!
Movement-wise, Immersive Aircraft and Valkyrien Skies 2 alongside Eureka have been added, though mods like Waystones have been purposefully left out. If you want to set up a transport system, make use of Create: Teleporters, trains and minecarts, or the various options offered by the magic mods instead.

As an important note, airship balloons have been tweaked to make use of Aether resources, and some other recipes tweaked to mesh with the Create mod.

Otherwise notable inclusions are Quark, Supplementaries and Spelunkery, as well as Oreganized  - as these all give many new options to players. Rats has also been included, though cheese crafting has been altered to require the use of the Let's Go: Meadow mod.

Comes with Complementary Shaders pre-installed! Various resource packs and environmental mods should also help to make everything look and sound a bit nicer :)

Some QOL recipe additions and tweaks:

4 Torches, 2 Sticks, 3 Logs > Campfire

Raw copper > Copper Ingots in a campfire
Sticks > Torches in a campfire
Logs > Charcoal in a campfire

Glass > Tinted Glass in a smoker
Sand > Glass in a blast furnace

5 Glistering Melons, 4 Blackstone > Gilded Blackstone
2 String, 4 Rabbit hide > Bundle

Also:
- Soul Soil under a standard cobblegen generates Tuff
- Raw Ore Blocks of Iron, Gold, Copper, Zinc, Aluminum or Lead under a standard stone gen occasionally generate Crimsite, Ochrum, Veridium, Asurine, Bauxite and Glance, respectively.
- Immersive Weathering adds a handful of additional cobblegens
- Some blocks from Create: New Age have been tweaked, for example to include resources from Alex's Caves
- Create: New Age Magnetite and Thorium no longer spawn. Alternative recipes have been added; check REI.
- Titanium ore, from Create: Tank Defenses, also no longer spawns, and is instead refined via standard crafting.
- Botania requires floral fertilizer to get started, as flowers don't spawn naturally
- Whirlisprigs drop the various Ars Nouveau saplings. Drygmies drop the various matching fruits.
- Hamsters now occasionally drop rabbit hide
- Malum's runewood trees grow from craftable saplings, and only uncommonly in the wild.

Things to be aware of:
- Due to 'Immersive Weathering', any villager left in the dark for too long will become an Illager.

Big thanks to Shadowmaster for helping with pack updating! :)
