If you are experiencing crashes during startup, remove the exclamation point (!) from the directory name for Stranded! in your instances directory.  Apparently curse/twitch doesn't know how to escape the characters in the directory when starting up the game.  This doesn't affect everyone, only some people.

Stranded! was developed with the inspiration of Skyblock but while watching WaterWorld.  You get the Skyblock gameplay, but the safety net of the ocean to keep you from dying from falling, but still killing you if you don't manage your resources correctly.  Our previous modpack was designed to cater to multiple playstyles, this one is mostly centered around surviving at all costs.

The multiplayer server will be centered around dirt as a currency (dirt is very hard to come by, and by far the most valuable resource), with an ocean 150 blocks deep, with a cloud level at 200.  Islands are generated every 1000 blocks and the seabed is made of dirt (no bedrock, so be careful!)

Featuring and centering around:

  • Imagine building a vast underwater city (with an ocean that's 150 blocks deep!), create your own Atlantis or massive sea lab!
  • Traversing the globe using Davinci's vessels either by sea, air, or even submarines.
  • Primary focus on team play and multiplayer interaction using questing and a trading system on servers (if you need either a diamond mesh to start on precious minerals or your first charged quartz to start in AE2 you will need to spawn it in for single player instances).
  • Multiplayer features a trading outpost to help you progress in the game at the expense of the all too valuable dirt!

In the future we plan on the quest lines as stated before, massive online activities on our server, and leveling progression to spice things up a bit.
