Is this a vanilla+
No this will overhaul the game making it completely different experience than regular vanilla.
Will this crash my PC?
as long as you put more than 5 gigs of ram into your Minecraft you will be ok, also make sure your pc can even run 1.12.2
(This is a lite modpack so don't worry about size of mods.)
