About

Description

This is the Mod pack used at the Dojo's of CoderDojo Belgium Division: Eeklo.

The ultimate goal of this pack is teaching the kids different elements of the games.

This ranges from vanilla red stone logic and command blocks to the use of mods such as open computers,  XNet and Steve's factory manager reborn.

The first 3 maps included in this project are a mini game base map , a mob farm base map and the redstone hall map.

The intention of these maps is to make a working mini game or mob farm  over the course of multiple

Dojo's.

Following here is some basic information about the current maps.

The mini game map:

A small map where you have to build a small dungeon. (the structure is provided.)

Using command blocks make  a simplistic game. The player has to search the tombs for two treasures.

Once both treasure are found the exit opens and the player can exit. But be careful one of the tombs contains a zombie. Get hit by the zombie and it is game over.

To open a tomb => a player has to run around all four sides.

The  farm map:

In this world the user has to make a mob farm  in the provided location.

When opening up the world the player start at the mob grinding level. The meaning is to build a simple mob farm using mob elevators and red stone logic.

The red stone logic will be used to give feedback if a certain amount of mobs has been reached at the grinding platform. Activated the grinder for x amount of time to get the mob down to a low health level.

This will contain red stone concepts like mono stable circuits, hopper clocks and some basic about red stone wiring.

This is a design originally done by dataless822.

Redstone Hall:

Learning the basic of red stone and some useful circuits. This map will contain some exercises for basic red stone and will also be used during the Dojo's as an on the fly exercise world.

Learn how to use mods like XNet and Steve's factory manager and rf tools control.

Most if not all redstone contraption come form Mumbo Jumbo

Added an example of an AFK fishfarm Design by Panda4994

Implemented following Xisumavoid tutorial

A detailed explanation for the exercise can be found at CoderDojo Eeklo.( only in dutch)

Thanks

This was all possible thanks to the mod makers. So thank you all for your hard work.
