Cogs and Quests

A Vanilla+ pack with one rule: if it doesn't feel like it could be part of the base game, it's not in here. No kitchen sink, no tech mods with fifty GUIs, no lucky blocks (sorry).

The machines

Create is the backbone. Gears turn, belts run, trains show up on time, packages get launched across your base. It's automation you can stand inside and point at, which means the people you play with can walk through your factory and actually see what it does, instead of staring at a screen full of item filters.

The world

Terralith terrain, every vanilla structure rebuilt by YUNG's mods, and every now and then a When Dungeons Arise monster of a ruin on the horizon. Villages are worth defending, treasure maps are worth following. You can raise and ride dragons, sail real ships, and build a rickety little aircraft that mostly doesn't crash. Cooking is a proper part of the loop too: Farmer's Delight plus seasons make the farm and kitchen something you come back to, not a wheat field you visit once.

The practical bits

• 61 mods on 1.20.1 Forge, every version pinned. Updates are deliberate, so nothing changes under your save without us meaning it to.
• Performance mods built in (Embeddium, FerriteCore, ModernFix, Canary, Entity Culling). Allocate 4 GB and it runs fine, including on 8 GB machines.
• Plays best with two or three people on a small server.

One of you builds the factory, the other fills the storage hall with dungeon loot. That's the whole idea.
