About
Description
"Magical energy. Before it was always present, but just at the edges. Usually manifesting itself in the world as Artifacts with unexplained power. But in this new age, it's everywhere, even spilling out into the very minerals of the land. Mined and washed, these mineral deposits leave behind a glittering magnetic blue dust, that easily binds itself . . ." [A burned edge cuts off anything else that may have been on this scrap of vellum, as it continues to smolder and smoke, endlessly, almost as if cursed]
In this edition of Colonial Engineers, you'll be faced with the challenge of 'Inventory Management' from the very start. Armor, off-hand, and hotbar will be your entire capacity when you start. However, all is not totally doomed, as you can pick-up and move Chests, Barrels, and Engineers Crating Tables via CarryOn, though there are other methods of portable storage available as well.
Also, as hinted above, Magic is a central theme/mechanic in the pack. The Codex Arcana from Magic & Artifice has additional entries and information specific to this modpack. There are parts of technology in this pack that are not accessible without sufficient magical understanding and progress. Check it thoroughly after Progressing up each tier of magic.
There is a short-quest/guide using FTBQuests, to guide through the Major Differences in mechanics from even normal modded gameplay. It actually terminates rather early in the potential gameplay.
The pack is intended to be played using the TerraForged world generation (server owners [level-type: terrafogred:terraforged] )
Recipes have been customized for this pack. "JEI is your friend!", When something doesn't appear to have a recipe in JEI, or especially if it looks to be in a closed recipe-loop that you can't find a way into via JEI, it's quite likely to be in the Codex Arcana. The Occulus from Mana & Artifice will list items according to the tier their recipe is locked behind.
Please, DO NOT re-host this pack on other sites or platforms.
If you want to record/stream you gameplay on this modpack, please do! If you let me know you are, then I'll do what I can to watch!
I have a Discord that is open for anyone playing my Modpacks/Servers. It's the place to get questions about the pack answered quickly.
