About
Description
This modpack is ideal for servers, as it's very multiplayer friendly!
Whether you are looking for an adventure, want more food in the game, thinks it's too easy to complete the game, or if you really just want to decorate your house better, this modpack might just be for you.
With every major minecraft update, their vision of what is "vanilla" becomes more and more apparent. Mods in newer versions are also becoming better at tailoring to that vision. This modpack tries to combine all of the best vanilla-feeling mods, into a package that shouldn't be too difficult to run. The point of the modpack is that everything in it should feel like it could be part of the main game. This means no nuclear reactors, no 30 different ores that all do the same thing, and no Cthulhu. The pack also aims at expanding minecraft in most of the major areas, and some of them are;
Exploration
Mods like Atmospheric, Bayou Blues, End Remastered, Darker Depths, BetterEnd, Endergetic Expansion, Infernal Expansion and more all enhance the exploration feeling with more biomes, and overall more things to do in the game.
Speaking of End Remastered. It completely changes the way you reach the end dimension; it's all about collecting the 11 different eyes that can be found in various different ways throughout the world, and then getting a powered core to open the portal to the end dimension.
Crafting an Antique Atlas allows you to have a map that shows everywhere you have been, and lets you place waypoints in memorable locations. Waystones allow you to set waypoints that not only show up on on the map, but also lets you teleport between them (at the cost of xp levels).
Dude Where's My Horse? (DWMH) has an ocarina that you can bind to a horse to call for it, no matter where it is in the world.
Food
Food mods like Farmer's Delight, Neapolitan, Aquaculture and Simply Tea add a multitude of food that you can cook and enjoy, some of which even give special effects.
Building
Create adds technology in a very vanilla way, which makes it feel like an expansion to redstone if there ever was a redstone update. You can do anything from making a drawbridge for your fancy castle to an automatic ore processing machine.
Other mods like Decorative Blocks, Bedspreads, Chimes, Macaw's Paintings, Doors & Trapdoors, Supplementaries and more all add different things to decorate your house with.
Brazier adds a large monolith of a structure that feels similar to a beacon. The taller you make the tower (up to a max of 10 blocks), the bigger radius it prevents hostile mob spawns!
Quality of Life
There are also quite a lot of quality of life changes that this modpack introduces, or just changes overall that makes the gameplay feel better;
- AI improvements, Fast Furnace & Fast Workbench, Ferritecore, etc all improve on the general performance of the game.
- Controlling lets you search for keybinds and controls in the controls menu.
- Shutupexperimentalsettings removes that annoying notification every time you try to join a modded world.
- Fixed Anvil Repair Cost makes it so that the cost on anvils doesn't scale to infinity.
- Customizable Elytra lets you dye and also apply banners to elytras.
- Curios lets you equip Totems of Undying without actually holding them in your hand.
AND MORE! The modpack is also still being worked on, so leave a comment if you find any issues.
