About

Description

A world full of dungeons and stunning landscapes is left for you to explore! This medieval fantasy pack offers 240+ mods, presenting features like biomes and wildlife mods for you to sight and traverse, heaps of dangerous creatures and beasts for you to challenge, and a plethora of ways to get around the world, be it by land, sky or sea.

It is recommended to have music on whilst playing with the few added combat themes and medieval tunes that will play here and there, and note that you will primarily be fighting in third person mod with the epic fight mod enabled, though you can change this in the configuration settings.

Notable Features:

  • Lots of different environments to explore with a few biome mods, with their own temperatures to endure. Make sure you wear the correct clothing, and bring a thermometer!
  • Epic Fight and Epic Knights mods: Souls-Like combat to make your boss fights as epic as possible.
  • Mods which boost the general atmosphere are installed, like dynamic surroundings, a mod which causes biomes titles to appear, and few plant mods like mushroom quest which decorate the landscapes, and Alex's mobs should make a great experience.
  • Relics have been added to increase your abilities, along with the playerEx mod for player skill customization.
  • Both small and absolutely gargantuan dungeons can be found across the many dungeon mods installed.
  • You'll have to gather info with the tools given to you, right-click a compass to view x and z coords, and utilise a depth meter to view height relative to sea level.
  • Serene Seasons has been equipped, remember to manage your crops well, and wear the right stuff for the right days!
  • Heaps of ocean content with a diversity of animals, challenges to face with aquamirae, and an underwater villager race. Set sail with Small Ships! And dive deeper with scuba!
  • Conquer the skies with the Ice and Fire mod, fight challenging bosses with Mowzie's Mobs, and slay a few beasts from meetyourfight to gain a few cool loot items, the enderdragon fight has also been made harder to increase difficulty.

Dimensions:

Both the end and the nether have been spiced up with mods like betterend and betternether, along with a bunch of other improvement mods for these dimensions to add to the experience, adding more structures, enemies, blocks, and different ways to get food.

To get to the end is much more difficult however, rather than collecting twelve ender eyes and inserting into the portal frames, one must collect a volley of different types of eyes from each corner of the world, placing into the portal frames, with no duplicates of an already placed eye type. May your quest please you.

This pack also adds the dimensional dungeons mod, so you can keep a mini pocket-dungeon at home to conquer if you feel like such!

Travel:

A signature method of travel made available to this mod pack is via the small ships added, which can accommodate several passengers if needed, hold a decent inventory size worth of items, and travel up to great speeds, alterable by the driver.

Valkyrien Skies and the Eureka mod is also included for you to construct your own airship to traverse the world if needed

Elytras have been both buffed and nerfed here, first you must succeed the much harder trip necessary to reach the end in this pack, and second the elytra will now take heightened damage when raining, and you are very likely to be struck by lightning when happening, however, you can now press jump to flap your wings mid-flight, eliminating the need for fireworks (Though they can still prove helpful), and holding X will flare your wings, slowing you to a safe descent.

Jump onto a wall proceeding crouch on the wall (whilst still holding W), and release the crouch key to launch off a wall, holding crouch once more if in the direction of another, in order to wall-jump, to get up and around tall spaces.

Much, much later on in the game, if you do succeed in hatching a dragon to be your own, you can conquer the skies, and overpower the land under!

Difficulty Changes:

Entering the dimensions for your first time will increase the overall difficulty of the foes you will encounter in this pack, and as a standard you may be encountering champion (much stronger) mobs around the place, along with mini-bosses guarding certain dungeon chests.

Armour Insulation and Temperature:

Make sure you equip with the right stuff as to not overheat or freeze!:

Leather Armour: Highest insulation stat, and cools you down
Bigborn Hide Armour: Highest insulation stat, and warms you up

Desert Armour: Cools the most, with medium insulaiton, great for trips in arid environments, but has low armour

Snow Armour: Heats the most, with medium insulaiton, great for trips in freezing environments, but has low armour

Gilded Armour: Minorly cools and has low insulation stat, but has an armour stat slightly greater than iron, good for nether trips, and offers protection

Scuba Gear: Great insulation stat and heating, but slows the user for each armour piece and has a decay in durability, great for deep diving

You can also enchant your armour with cooling and heating later to to meet your needs!

Tips:

  • Placing a campfire will place an unlit one, to light it use flint and steel, or hold a flint in main and offhand, then right-click. To maintain the fire, throw any fuel in, and it will last equivalent to the fuel's burning time. The campfire will benefit you by giving regeneration.
  • With a lit campfire, a weapon enchanted with brewing in one hand, and a potion in another, you can imbue a weapon with that potion effect (brewing 1 allows 1 potion, brewing 2 allows you to put on two potion).
  • You can experiment on water-filled cauldrons to do things such as un-dye wool, or wet concrete powder, right click on it to do such.
  • Make sure you lower the boats' sails when you go to sea to increase your speed.
  • You can right-click on a few types of vanilla rock types with you pickaxe to strip it back to it predecessor (e.g. strip stone to cobblestone).
