Description
This modpack provides tools to create an old western RP setting.
Hunt down wild buffalos, fight legendary bears with a shotgun, drink corn whiskey to stay hydrated, build a town on the frontier, do a rain dance. It's all possible in this modpack. The terrain generation is set so it mostly generates biomes that imitate American southwest and some Lousiana wetlands, here and there. No it's not all desert. Thanks to biomes o plenty and realistic terrain generation.
This is a modpack designed to emulate the hardships came with living in the frontier. Scarce food, water, scorching hot and arid climate. Natural health regeneration is off, but there's natural absorption, so you won't keep losing half a heart everytime you fall from a slightly higher ledge. I've added some basic healing items and tinctures to help you in the early game, and if you're not interested in brewing potions (like me).
Added healing items:
Primitive bandage < basic bandage < medicinal bandage < basic surgical tools < advanced surgical tools
Added medicines:
Cooling tincture: Cools you off to 35 degrees, really helpful in the nether.
Warming tincture: Warms you to 37 degrees, good for mountains and rainy days.
Medicinal tincture: Gives you a resistance effect and a random beneficial effect.
Tobacco chew: Gives you a minute of speed boost, but dehydrates you.
Medicinal tincture and surgical tools also restore some sanity.
I also carefully added all of the harvestcraft, psychedelicraft and growthcraft drinks to the hydration list. And some into warm/cool lists. Oh, and psychedelicraft drugs makes you lose some sanity.
With the use of custom NPCs you can make your world feel real as well. You'll have to copy the customNPCs folder that is located inside folder named "Copy the folder inside and copy in individual save folders to get NPCs in your worlds" within your modpack folder.
