CordeCraft is a modpack meant for use in the CordeCraft server, but it can be used for any single-player or multiplayer world.

Updates

We (Me, myself, and I) have released Diet CordeCraft, a significantly streamlined version of the original modpack that keeps the fundamentals while trimming out the extra content. In exchange for a few dimensions and the Create mod, among others, Diet gives you the ability to recruit villagers and craft your own spells! 

**Note for the Cordelinquents: This will be the version on the server because of RAM purposes. 

Overview

The focus of this modpack is exploration and adventure. You start with nothing and are not even able to punch trees. But with a steady hand and determination, you can carve out a living anywhere you see fit. The usual Minecraft experience has received a thorough expansion from your first step to well after you've defeated the Ender Dragon. 

Walk Your Path

There is no right way in CordeCraft. You can be a city mayor, a dimension-hopping pirate, a sorcerer in command of flesh and soul, a mad scientist unlocking the secrets of the universe! Not even the sky is the limit!

• Multiple magic mods such as Iron's Spells, Mahou Tsukai, and Metus Oblita work in tandem to provide arcane means of achieving power. 
• Tech mods including as Create, and the Thermal series, and Eureka! allow you to build machines that make the most arduous tasks into a walk in the park.
•  Companions are available for each general direction you go, from golems and robots to baby monsers and swarms of obedient spiders.
• Each larger mod adds weapons ranging from the humble flint knife to missile launchers, turrets, and blades that have felled gods. Scorched Guns and 
• For a more peaceful, cozy life, Enjoy Farmer's Delight and sit at a table for supper, farming in tune with the seasons that shift across the Overworld.
• If you wish only to explore a lush world, grab your backpack and tent, and maybe even your airship to see everything.
• These choices, and many more, are all yours.

Enemies

Of course, this modpack isn't just going to hand you the life you want. Strange and extreme creatures wait for you at every turn, from grafted skeletons to piglins armed with muskets and champion lizards who see you only as food. 

• Skarrier Mobs and Born in Chaos ensure that monsters will have the final say in your adventures.
• Dragons and hive monsters from the Ice and Fire series have made your world their home, and have no intention of leaving. 
• Every so often, the moon will rise to usher in waves of enemies hoping you stayed out too long. 
• Raids will often find you either at your villages or where you live, and the only way to stop them is for good. 
• Outside of the overworld, every world beyond has a host of creatures to discover. Some are cute, others helpful, and some are pulled straight from the nightmares of a madman. To survive these places, you must be armed with your best weapons and your sharpest wit. 

A Thriving Cosmos

Speaking of other worlds, the End is no longer the end. Bear witness to a grand, vibrant, and ancient order of cosmos. In the lore of CordeCraft (Don't worry about it), these dimensions are structured one atop the other, with the Overworld near the middle.

• Fly in the endless skies of the Aether, the very pinnacle of Creation where you, my friend, are not welcome.
• Below that rests the Astral Dimension, a colorful and dangerous place with as many weapons as opponents. 
• Closer to home are the myriad forms of the Overworld:
• The Candy Dimension sprawls with delicious treats with (almost) no evil in sight
• The Magnetic Dimension, where the laws of physics reign supreme and life itself is alien
• The Primal Dimension, where life started and time abandoned. You are on the bottom of the food chain, but with great challenges come savory rewards.
• The Overworld, where you begin. It is rich with history and diversity, and is the only way to access most other places. 
• The Toxic Dimension, a wasteland of its own making where only mutant horrors now remain
• The Forlorn Dimension, an endless crypt of occultists who may offer power in exchange for something more sacred
• The Abyss, a vast ocean where bloodthirsty monsters are the least of your worries.
• Away from the Overworld and its incarnations, there rests its sister dimension, the Twilight Forest. Here you'll walk as if through a dream, though a bit more real than you may remember.
• The Setback gnashes underneath. It is a place where the haunted and haunters intermingle. The Setback's creatures aren't to be trifled with, but braver adventurers have made sturdy homes here in the past.
• Burning just under is the Nether, a vibrant and gorgeous place matched only by its ferocity against outsiders. The jungles teem with life, and that life is hungry.
• Beneath its burning violence, there is the slumbering malice of the Depth, a world corrupted by the Sculk. Its twisting caves offer monsters as dangerous as they are beautiful, and champions that can turn away all but the bravest of souls. 
• Thriving beneath the oppressive peace of the Depth is the Undergarden, where you'll encounter testemants to the ancient will of green life. 
• Far and away, near the end of the universe, is the End. It flourishes more than your remember, with teeming forests and a few more faces to greet you should you happen by.
• Just make sure not to fall off, or the Deep Void will catch you. The very bottom of Creation, where monsters beyond life and magic rip apart everything that happens down here. There may be a way to escape, but you'll have to survive long enough to find it. 

Quick Notes:

• There is a bug where sometimes different stacks of the same type won't combine. I am aware of it, but have no idea which mod it's coming from. For the time being, creating something with both stacks into one result usually solves the problem.
• This modpack has customized configs and a modified resource pack. If something doesn't feel like it's working how it should, let me know and I'll take a look.

Beginner's Guide

This is going to be brief, but possibly helpful. I suggest looking through tutorials/guides of the associated mods - Especially Create!

Getting Started:

Congratulations! You just woke up in the Overworld without a penny to your name! For some reason, the first thing you instinctively do is punch a tree, but to your -and only your- surprise, nothing happened! Here's how to get started in CordeCraft!

• In order to reach the sky, you've got to start at the ground, and I mean that literally. First thing's first, you need tools. Pick up the nearest two pebbles and with with one in the off hand, bang them together until you've got flint. This is how you begin, by gathering flint and sticks until you can make tools that chop down trees! For all recipes, especially in the early game, JEI will be your best friend.
• Now you've got tools and maybe a small shelter. Next, you're gonna want something to eat and sit by (X, btw). Take two of your newly procured logs and craft them into firewood, then stack that firewood wherever you want. Place some charcoal underneath it, and now you've got yourself a fire. Torches, ores, and logs can all be made on it, along with food. 
• By now you've probably noticed that it isn't just skellies and zombies after you. From here, you have two options: bravery or industry. The brave will head on, exploring and fighting their way through the world, and would do well to craft a tent from leather and sticks. This tent is portable, and saves everything you put inside it - including your bed. There's no shortage of dungeons and structures to explore, and if you're lucky, you'll come across powers you didn't even know you always wanted. 
• The industrious will fashion themselves a set of hammers and go to work. One will smash stone and procure cobblestone by the handful for the other to pulverize into gravel, sand, and dust. Put these through a sieve for a slow but reliable source of raw materials. 

From here, the CordeCraft journey is your own. All that's left is a few pro tips.

Pro Tips

• This modpack comes installed with Solas Shader, and was designed along with it. 
• It also comes with a modified version of the Stoneborn resource pack that changes the GUI, but not containers, for consistency purposes. 
• Decorated clay pots now act as portable containers. They can be stored along with their items inside chests and other compartments, including the tents.
• Several mods use similar or the same hotkeys. I find it best to determine which mods you're most likely to use, and submit your favorite hotkeys through there. Remember, you can Shift+ and Ctrl+ hotkeys too!
• I cannot stress enough how little of the modpack I have covered here. Whatever interests that you find here would be served well with a scan of its relevant mods.
