Description
Cozy Visuals isn't just another visual modpack that turns Minecraft into something flashy, cartoony, or unrecognizable.
Every feature is carefully chosen with a purpose, focusing on improving the atmosphere and overall feel of the game rather than adding effects just for the sake of it.
The goal is to make vanilla Minecraft feel more immersive, polished, and satisfying to play while staying true to its original style.
⛏️ This pack adds:
Animation Overhaul
- Smoother, springier animations for players, mobs, and first-person interactions.
- Countless small details, from subtle interface animations to item-swapping effects.
Cozier visuals
- Improved clouds, richer skies, biome-specific fog, and other subtle visual enhancements.
- Lens flare, god rays, subtle lava bloom, volumetric fog, and more.
Enhanced audio
- Gentler weather ambience, satisfying inventory and hotbar sounds, plus ambient audio like birds, crickets, wind, and more.
Improved particles
- Better block-breaking particles, enhanced rain, desert sandstorms, and countless subtle effects throughout the game.
- Particles for stripping logs, flattening paths, running, punching certain mobs, throwable object trails, dropped items, and more.
- Rain mist, pollen, dust motes, cave atmosphere, wind gusts, birds, fireflies, butterflies, and more.
3D models
- A variety of items are fully 3D, including armor, books, and buckets.
- Some models also feature glowing details or enchanted-glint outlines.
Refreshed main menu
- A brand-new panorama and title screen, with a smoother button hovering, a fresher cursor, and a stone-clicking sound.
...and much more!
🗒️ Notes
This modpack has its own vibe. Shaders mess with the atmosphere, so please play without them for the intended experience.
I don't consider myself an expert in optimization mods, but I've done my best to ensure the pack maintains a playable FPS.
To make the game look just like it's supposed to, you'll have to set 'Particles' to 'All' in video settings.
🐞 Current Bugs
Mixed music - When music is enabled, the game's soundtrack gets mixed with another one. This only happens with music, though.
Panorama cut-off - There is a strange cut in the main menu panorama because it is made up of in-game screenshots.
Performance - I slightly broke performance recently. I'll work on improving it when I feel like it. It's still perfectly playable, of course.
Breaking blocks - When blocks are broken, particles spawn inside them, causing them to turn black for a split second.
📋 Things I Plan to Do
- Optimization - I slightly broke performance recently. I'll work on improving it when I feel like it. It's still perfectly playable, of course.
🔴 Modpack Trailer
A poorly made trailer for the pack, but I hope you like it! Hopefully it gives you a good idea of what the pack is like. • ᴗ •
