overall

Given that it's a kitchen sink pack with a very large amount of mods, you can expect it to have anything you'd like

The pack itself clearly has had significant effort put into it. Many items are cross compatible between mods, I don't think I've seen a single overlapping recipe, the quests are fairly well structured, and overall it's very fun, especially if you're looking for a "minecraft but with lots of mods" sort of experience

exploration

I can't say much for the RPG and exploration side of things, but I was able to get close to invincible fairly quickly and most of the bosses tended to be quite easy

tech

In terms of tech and magic, which is what me and my friend focused on, there were significant balance issues but overall it was still quite fun if you accept that certain things will be redundant. And because of how the pack and it's quests are structured, it's fairly easy to skip certain mods anyway

It has that specific kitchen sink tech mod vibe, where each mod tended to be used separately and with little configuration, specifically removing machines, from them. A lot of Create, for example, is completely overshadowed by mekanism and modern industrialization, and even theurgy in some cases.

I won't dock too many points for it though since being able to access a lot of tech mods "vanilla" is the point of a kitchen sink, and it's still easy to enjoy them as standalone experiences

performance

In terms of performance, we found that in client side, there tended to be hitches in frames, and some missing textures here and there.

Server side was also an issue, but I can't say if it was purely a hardware issue on my part or the mod. Though I do run the modpack on 8gbs and we found that the server was consistently struggling a bit
