About
Description
The Crafty Kettle Modpack is the official continuation of the Golden Sands (now Silver Beaches) custom modpack series that started with Epitome and Duality. You'll see many mods you may be used to from the 1.7.10 days as well as some you've never seen before!
This modpack offers:
- A mix of magic, tech, industrial and exploration to suit your preferred play-style -
- Faction-based PvP (optional) as well as unique ways of joining said factions -
- Revamped cave systems and ore generation that mix up the usual mining playstyle, with large ore veins and a healthy dose of new mechanics thanks to the updates provided by vanilla -
The recommended RAM settings when in single player is 12 GB if you play without Distant Horizons turned on, 16 GB if you do. If you decide to instead join a server, we recommend 8 GB. 6 GB will just barely run, and you'll get some freezes every once in a while, but it is technically playable. We include many performance enhancements by default and while it's not recommended, many of these options can be fine-tuned for your own system.
The official server for this modpack is provided as a clickable button on the main menu screen.
