About
Description
This modpack was designed with the specific intent of being as friendly as possible to new modded players. Many such players may feel overwhelmed by the stark un-minecraftness of some modpacks so I made this one to help them dip their toes in the water, so to speak.
The primary focus of the modpack is to enhance the vanilla gameplay loop. This is mostly achieved through mods like BiomesOPlenty, Quark, Alex's Mobs, Chipped, and Yung's structure overhaul mods that make the world more interesting but mods like Tetra also serve to make the process of acquiring new tools fun and engaging; Not to mention simple voice chat, which will inevitably lead to some very comedic moments on your server.
That's not to say there is no modded juiciness however, as I predict that the players this pack was made for will very quickly start wanting more. The main content mods included in this pack include create (+addons), Ars Nouveu (+addons), Thermal expansion, and The Twilight Forest to name a few.
As a final note if you are reading this and are just now trying to get into modded minecraft Included in this modpack is a fully annotated modlist generally explaining the role of every mod in the pack as well as it's general gameplay impact. If you are unsure how to look at the file contents of a modpack on curseforge, simply right click the icon of the modpack in question and select "Open Folder". in this case you can find a file called "Modlist.txt" (or just Modlist if you don't display file extensions) with the aforementioned annotations.
Have fun and enjoy :)
