About

Description

Create: Mania 3

Create: Mania 3 is a technology, exploration, and automation-focused Minecraft modpack built around the Create mod and its many expansions. The pack is designed for players who want complex factories, moving contraptions, trains, vehicles, custom recipes, new food systems, expanded storage, and a more varied world to explore.

Version 3.1 Update

Create: Mania 3.1 is a major world-generation, exploration, combat, and quality-of-life update. This version adds many new mods, updates existing ones, expands world height, improves exploration, and adds more tools for building, automation, and survival.

The Overworld has been expanded to generate from Y -128 to Y 1024, giving much more vertical space for caves, terrain, structures, and large-scale builds. The Nether now generates from Y 0 to Y 192, with a build limit of Y 256. Existing chunks from older worlds will still only go down to Y -64, while newly generated chunks will extend down to Y -128.

Because of these world-generation changes, starting a new world is recommended for version 3.1, but it is not strictly necessary. Older worlds should still work, but you will need to explore new chunks to see the full worldgen changes.

Version 3.1 also adds major exploration improvements with mods like Tectonic, Incendium, Deepslate Tweaks, Excavated Variants, and the full set of YUNG’s structure mods. Dungeons, temples, strongholds, monuments, Nether fortresses, witch huts, cave biomes, and other structures have been improved, making exploration much more rewarding.

This update also adds new gameplay and quality-of-life mods such as Create: Oxidized, Steam ‘n’ Rails, Better Combat, Horses Can Swim, Bridging Mod, Inventory Essentials, KleeSlabs, Trash Cans, LambDynamicLights, Better Clouds, Distant Horizons, Controlify, and more.

Distant Horizons has been added to massively increase the visible distance of the world using distant terrain rendering. This can make mountains, terrain, structures, and large landscapes visible from much farther away than normal Minecraft render distance allows. However, Distant Horizons can also use a lot of processing power, especially while it is generating LOD terrain in new areas. Players with lower-end systems may want to lower its settings, reduce the LOD render distance, or disable it if they experience lag, high CPU usage, or increased memory usage.

At its core, the pack focuses on Create-based progression. Mods like Create, Create Crafts & Additions, Create Big Cannons, Create: The Factory Must Grow, Create: Enchantment Industry, Create: Central Kitchen, Create: Connected, Create: Interiors, Create: Power Loader, Create: Oxidized, Steam ‘n’ Rails, and many more expand the possibilities of mechanical automation. Whether you want to build massive processing lines, rail networks, farms, factories, weapon systems, or decorative industrial builds, the pack gives you plenty of tools to work with.

World exploration has also been expanded with mods like Biomes O’ Plenty, The Aether, Deep Aether, End’s Phantasm, Even Better Nether, Tectonic, Incendium, Better Villages, Aether Villages, Create: Rustic Structures, YUNG’s structure mods, and other structure and biome additions. The Overworld, Nether, End, and Aether all have more to discover, making exploration feel more rewarding alongside the technical progression.

The pack also includes a strong focus on quality-of-life improvements. JEI, Jade, JourneyMap, Mouse Tweaks, Controlling, AppleSkin, Durability Tooltip, Easy Anvils, Easy Magic, Polymorph, Sophisticated Backpacks, Sophisticated Storage, Carry On, Inventory Essentials, Bridging Mod, KleeSlabs, Controlify, and other utility mods help smooth out gameplay without taking away from the survival experience.

This is the fourth modpack I've made, and the first modpack I've ever published. Please excuse the not-perfect production quality and any issues with the modpack. I will be continuing to update and make new versions of this modpack.

Known Issues

Skyjade should not be enchantable by the Create: Enchantment Industry blaze enchanter. Bug in all versions.
