What is Create Minimalism?

I initially created this pack to play with some friends with just vanilla, JEI, and the Create mod. Over time I added some quality of life improvement mods for features I was missing, like JourneyMap, The One Probe, and more. The result is this pack that only includes Create as the "main" content mod and some other mods commonly present in most modpacks to make the experience a bit easier and smoother.

Why does this modpack exist?

When the Create mod is packed into larger packs, most of its stuff is outperformed by other mods with easier machines, that are just a single block. Create doesn't become a part of your progression, but just a utility for building moving structures. This takes away from the beautifully detailed worlds you'll build to progress with just the Create mod. Not even speaking of the awesome mining machinery you'll build. So I created this pack to allow you to play with just the Create mod without missing out on the basic comfort most modpacks provide.

That being said you can of course also use this pack as a basis for your own custom packs. Its minimal nature allows you to build your experience on top of a solid base without any clutter. This pack is published under the MIT License, so modify and publish away.

What's in the pack?

The following mods are included in this pack:

• Create: Since you found this pack you probably know what Create is. If not, check it out!
• JEI and JER: Find items and recipes, also the best helper for the Create mod with Create's new pondering feature
• GraveStone Mod: Don't drop your items on the floor when you die, instead create a gravestone that contains all your items
• Nature's compass: A utility item for finding biomes
• JourneyMap: A map that records the terrain around you and allows you to create waypoints
• AppleSkin: A detailed food UI for more overview of your hunger status and the effectiveness of foods
• ChickenChunks: Provides craftable Chunk Loaders to keep chunks loaded when no player is near them.
• Controlling: Adds a search function to the keybind menu
• Crafting Tweaks: A mod for easier use of the crafting grid
• Create Curios: A mod for using Create engineer's goggles in a Curios head slot
• Curious Elytra: Add an extra slot for the Elytra so you don't have to give up your armor slot
• Ding: Make a noise when Minecraft is done loading so you can do something else while it loads.
• Easier Sleeping: Only require a configurable percentage of all players to sleep in order to skip the night.
• FastWorkbench and FastFurnace: Performance enhancement for workbenches and furnaces
• FastLeafDecay: Have leaves decay faster
• FTB Essentials: Some useful commands for server management
• Light Overlay: Find the spots where monsters are still spawning
• MouseTweaks: Better mouse dragging mechanics when dragging items over slots
• NetherPortalFix: Smart nether portals that know where you came from and send you back there
• Reap Mod: Harvest fully grown crops by right-clicking and they'll re-plant themselves
• ReAuth: Renew your login session in-game
• The One Probe: HWYLA alternative, shows you details on what you are looking at.
• Too Fast: Removes server-side limit on player speeds

Resource packs
