CreatE: Tinkering with Alchemy
No reviews yet
A kitchen-sink+ modpack combining Create, Tinker's Construct and ProjectE with a focus on compatibility. This will no longer recieve updates, as projectE requires a major rebalance.
Forge is a popular mod loader for versions 1.1+ of Minecraft.

Description
THIS MODPACK WILL NOT RECEIVE UPDATES
This is a medium-size modpack combining some of my favourite mods of all time, including:
Create
ProjectE
Tinkers' Construct
AE2
And Much, Much more!
This modpack aims to make the player incredibly powerful through projectE and incentivize cool builds and automation, as all methods to acquire resources automatically through projectE have been removed. World generation has also been massively overhauled with Yung's popular structure redesigns along with new biomes and many more all new and interesting places to find.
This pack includes numerous removals and nerfs from projectE in an attempt to pare back some of the more overpowered aspects of ProjectE. These changes failed to curb the power of the mod sufficiently, and it is still very much too strong.
CreatE is very much a kitchen sink pack. This was my first time creating a pack, and there is much that I want to do, but currently lack the skill to do so. I eventually intend to release a successor pack, so any suggestions would be welcome!
The reason for the lack of future updates is that I am trying to find time to learn the skills to develop a fork of projectE to further change the mod to bring it more in line with the rest of the mods in the pack. This is the fundamental issue with the pack that I would rather work on for the following pack. I like the fundamental idea for projectE, but the balancing for items was designed for a minecraft long since past. You basically become god after looting a bastion or 2, with a bit of crafting and a transmutation tablet that is. I think creating some sort of energy loss, or cost in order to break an item down into EMC would help. Perhaps combining a small loss with a duration, with increasing losses increasing speed?
I'll try and get the successor ready for when minecraft fever kicks in again.
