About
Description
Welcome to Create & Destroy, a modpack focused on keeping the insanity of a kitchen sink pack while reining in the more overpowered and frustrating things that often come with packs that, all with a focus on Create and Create-adjacent mods!
The design philosophy of this pack was inspired by the fun of kitchen sink packs, but after seeing how they leave behind people who don't play too much and are generally a bit overpowered, I decided to make my own! It started out as a personal pack that I went a little overboard with. In this pack, the vanilla game's progression and balance was a big inspiration for this pack. It won't ever murder you with difficulty, but you're never beyond accidentally dying to a mishap and you won't ever become a completely untouchable god.
There is an official server! Check it out at cnd.ggateway.net:25571, me and my friends frequent it!
Main features:
- Coherent progression system ending in Powered Spawners from EnderIO
- Nearly every Create addon all in one pack, with extra compatability where necessary!
- Custom ore processing with unique textures for every in-between product
- Balanced tools and machines to not leave behind anyone on a server
- Very performant compared to most packs of this size. Many of my friends have reported a good 30-40 FPS more than other packs of this size! Even on the most potato PCs, you should be able to squeeze 20-30 FPS out of it!
- EnderIO has been torn apart and put back together to fit the Create aesthetic
- So, so many Farmer's Delight addons. All patched together and Creatified when necessary, with each uniue food creation method tying back into the tech progression by allowing the creation of unique Blaze Burner fuels! (With more to come!)
Future features:
- Integrating the magic mods with the main progression and tying them all together like what has been done with the Create addons
- Overhaul of the Ad Astra dimensions to add more to do to each planet beyond just going to the moon for progression
- Ultimate item ala the All The Mods Star requiring completion of every mod in the pack, will be coming with the full release!
A forewarning, this pack is still in very early beta, and necessary changes will more than likely pop up as the pack is played, which is where you all come in! Report any issue, concern, criticism, or suggestion in the comments of this page, I will respond to as many as I can. Good luck, and make sure to Create and Destroy!
