this mod makes it so you could use a controller instead of a keyboard and mouse to play the game it also has console Legacy which makes the game look like the console version it also has the texture packs and the worlds from the console edition so you could play them 

Unlike Bedrock Edition, the Java Edition of Minecraft does not allow players to use a controller to play the game. There are many reasons why players find using a controller a better experience.
