About

Description

TL;DR
A large-scale fantasy–technology modpack focused on exploration, magic progression, automation, and challenging combat across multiple dimensions.

Cursed Horizons is a survival modpack built around a simple conflict: technology versus magic. The world is dangerous, resources matter, and progression takes time. Players must choose how they gain power, whether through machines, spells, or a mix of both.

Exploration plays a major role, with new structures, dungeons, and dimensions that reward preparation and punish rushing. Combat is tougher than vanilla, enemies hit harder, and gear progression is important for survival.

Magic offers powerful spells, rituals, and enchanted equipment, while technology focuses on automation, processing systems, and advanced storage. Both paths are viable, but committing to one gives stronger results.

The pack works well for multiplayer and group play. Factions, shared bases, and player-driven conflict are encouraged. Essential is included to make it easier for friends to join each other without needing a dedicated server.

Quality-of-life and performance mods are included to improve stability and reduce frustration without removing challenge.

Cursed Horizons is meant for players who want a harder survival experience where power is earned, not given.
