Death & Renaissance

What is this modpack?!

Designed to make your life in Minecraft more interesting and challenging, Death & Renaissance aims to improve survival, exploration, combat, and building in an all-in-one package without overwhelming fantasy and magic systems. You are free to choose your own path, whether it be a roaming adventurer, a conqueror of civilizations, a master builder, or all three combined! A pint of realism and immersion has also entered Minecraft. You will hear birds in the trees, the powerful sound of waterfalls, and your steps echoing on a dark and mysterious cavern.

Survival

You should be careful with yourself! With this modpack, you'll need to stay hydrated and take care not to burn up in the desert or freeze in the snow, as well as have some bandages on hand to fix you up should you get scratched.

Exploration

An extensive array of structures are available for you to discover! From dungeons and crypts to castles and keeps, you will never run out of locations to raid or claim for your own.

Combat

Combat has been revamped to a more RPG-like style with a wide and diverse arsenal of weapons to complement it. Lock onto enemies and perform deadly combos or use halberds, muskets, cannons and many other weapons to achieve victory.

Building

Not only does this modpack grant an extensive array of building blocks and tools, it also allows gamemasters and worldbuilders to forge their own universes. Make NPCs do your work for you, create your own, or use them to design intricate quest systems.

In conclusion? If you love Minecraft and would love to see it more fleshed out but aren't a friend of complicated magic and fantastic systems, then this is the modpack for you.

I recommend installing Optifine for maximum performance and for the ability to install shaders. Take into consideration that having Fast Render on might cause some issues with Tinker's Construct, though.
