About

Description

DerplingCraft 2 (current version 2.5.1) is a light modpack with plenty of exploration and combat content, as well as some QoL and even a little content for builders. Key mods include:

Better Shields: Rebalances shields, wooden shields now only give 60% Damage Reduction (DR) and shields can be crafted from better materials, with netherite shields giving 95% DR.

Savage Ender Dragon: Reworks the Ender Dragon fight and fixes an oversight which caused her to never charge, making her shockingly easy to cheese.

Corpse: Whenever you die, instead of your stuff spilling out a corpse with your skin, armor, and equipped items spawns. This means none of your stuff will despawn and you can either return your things to their previous positions or take specific items out with an intuitive GUI.

Origins (Forge): Lets you choose between 9 different origins, each with their own perks and drawbacks. Makes for an interesting playing experience that is significantly different each time as long as you pick a different origin.

Dungeons Mobs: Adds the mobs and minibosses from Minecraft Dungeons in an unobtrusive way. Some even have cool and unique drops!

Wonderful Enchantments: Adds a host of new and original enchantments to the game, as well as filling in some gaps Mojang left in terms of protection and damage.

Savage and Ravage: The ultimate mod for all things Illager. New structures, changes to pillagers, a new trickery-based illager, a new and improved raid starting mechanic, and even a new armor set are added!

Upgrade Aquatic: Expands ocean content, adding various underwater structures, sharks, and even driftwood!

Waystones: This wonderful mod adds monoliths called waystones that can be found around the world. Once activated they can let you teleport to any other waystone in the same dimension. Mine them and bring them to places you go often and you'll save so much time to do what matters!

YUNG's mods: There are 6 in total, which improve caves, mineshafts, dungeons, strongholds, and even the nether portal system! The final mod, YUNG's extras, adds a couple structures, mainly for show.

Biomes o' Plenty: Adds a lot of cool new biomes in all dimensions, and by a lot I mean A LOT.

Custom Crosshair Mod. Does exactly what it says on the tin. A new and improved crosshair that is highly customizable.

Alex's Mobs: Adds a massive slew of new mobs, passive, neutral, and hostile. Style quality is on par with Mojang's.

Harder Natural Healing: another self-explanatory one. Natural healing got a ludicrous and uncalled-for buff, this mod reverts it to be much closer to 1.8's. Now regeneration is actually useful, an combat success does not near-entirely depend on the amount of food you have.

No Sleep: Prevents you from skipping every nighttime and the dangers that come from it.

Elenai Dodge 2: This is a mod that adds a dodge feature, double-tap a direction to perform a small dash. For a half-second after that dash you are immune to damage. There is a new feather bar that shows how many dashes you can preform, with each feather representing 1 dodge. There is a new armor weight mechanic which solely effects how many dodges you can preform, with heavier armor limiting dodges more. This is shown by every unusable feather turning white. There is an enchantment that decreases armor weight and even potions that effect it!

End Remastered: No, this does not rework the end. Instead, it reworks the journey, requiring you to explore various places to collect a variety of unique eyes to light the portal.
