About

Description

You know the classic kitchen sink mod. Magic and tech with a dash of exploration and some stuff that's flat out broken. This modpack is partially inspired by others like MCeternal and R.A.D and takes influence from them in a number of ways. I always loved kitchen sink modpacks, especially when the content is connected through mods like crafttweaker, and a simple progression system is available (especially through quests).

This is that, plus a little inspiration from games like Terraria, and using mods like Immersive Portals to do cool stuff like dimension stack. Dimension stack is a unique modification to a Minecraft world that allows for the nether to be directly underneath the overworld, and the end to be directly overhead, above the overworld. By adding interim dimensions, and using some modifications like YUNG's Better Caves and YUNG'S Better Mineshafts, you can make the Minecraft world feel much more expansive and more deeply interconnected.

Silent's Gear and Silent's Gems provide a unique form of item crafting reminiscent of tinkerer's construct and provide the player with a much greater degree of flexibility in weapon and tool design. BountifulBaubles adds Terraria like accessories that make a character much stronger. Tech mods like Mekanism will make you feel like a tech genius, and magic mods like Botania, Blood Magic, and Forbidden, and Arcanus add tons of cool content. You will need all of this to fight against the monsters present in Ice and Fire, which can be extremely difficult if you are caught off guard.

There are several ways to play this pack, with the best (in my opinion) being dimension stack. this is available on world generation, although not in multiplayer (multiplayer can be accomplished by generating the world in singleplayer, then adding it to a server). This pack can also be played with a normal dimension layout, which puts the awesome looking portals on display. It should be said that this is not a light modpack: it will require you to have a decent computer. A light version of this modpack might be made later, but for now, I would recommend six gigabytes of ram minimum.

For now, FTB quests is present, but quests are not well developed. The mod pack is consistently being worked on, and will probably be updated weekly so that players can get the best experience possible. I will attempt to make several mod integrations as updates come through. There are also several mods I plan to add, namely projectE and tinkers construct. I'll probably incorporate projectE as late-game content, as it is generally more powerful than other mods. A shop will eventually be added, but I'm still waiting for a mod in that regard.
