A Lightweight, performance focused modpack for Minecraft

DF Optimized keeps the vanilla experience you know and makes it run smoother, look better, and feel nicer to play. It adds no new blocks, items, or mobs, so it works as a replacement for vanilla, and can join vanilla servers with it.

It's build and tested on modest hardware, so it should run well on most machines

Performance

• Sodium and Iris: a much faster rendering engine, with optional shader support
• Lithium: optimizes game logic, mob AI, and world ticking
• ModernFix and FerriteCore: faster startup and lower memory usage
• ImmediatelyFast, EntityCulling, More Culling: skip rendering what you can't see
• BadOptimizations, Particle Core, Clumps: smaller optimizations that add up
• Dynamic FPS: lowers resource usage when the game is minimized or in the background

• Continuity: connected textures for glass, bookshelves, and more
• Entity Model Features and Entity Texture Features: support for resource packs with custom and animated mobs
• Dynamic Lights: Torches and other light sources glow in your hand

Recommended Settings

• RAM: 4 GB allocated works well
• Shaders: optional. On intergrated graphics, stick to lightweight packs like Complementary on low settings
