Gameplay:
The progression of DigSite is largely based around quest completion and story progression, which takes a lot of grindiness out of it. One feature of the modpack that I really liked was the mod tutorials that were integrated into several of the structures, allowing the player to stop and learn about some very useful mods should they wish to.

The story was quite exciting as well! I can't say much outside of spoilers, but I will say that the "full of mystery" that I alluded to in the title is definitely true. As for the spoilers, the slow reveal that the world your in is much more technologically advanced than it seems on the surface was incredible. I especially loved the endgame content, diving into CYBZ and fighting off waves of androids was the coolest I've felt playing modded Minecraft in a while.

One thing I didn't quite get about the pack was the hardcore elements that were seemingly added in at random. I can understand Pollution of the Realms, but I don't see how needing gloves to handle lava or having water be finite add to the experience. It's a minor thing, but it bothered me a bit.

Aesthetics:
Speaking of the structures, they are what bring this modpack's aesthetic rating so high up. Every single structure tied to progression had me wowed more than the last. It is very clear that a lot of time and care was put into building all of them. Custom terrain would have been nice, but considering everything else the pack has going for it, it's not needed.

Performance:
Nothing much to note on here. I got good numbers while playing it, especially since it's 1.12 and all that. Given the way the pack is designed, you're unlikely to be building any lag-inducing builds.
