Description
-Long ago, in a land parallel to our own, a mysterious demon made of shadow energy unleashed an evil so vast, that the abyssal guardians couldn't tolerate the natural order being distorted. Banished to the deepest depths of the darkness beneath the Realm of Omothol, the demon vowed to one day return to claim vengeance against the guardians and their respective champions.
While the explorer was going through the Realm of Omothol to face against J'zahar, he mis-calculated one of his jumps and fell into the Dark realm below. Somehow surviving the fall, he got up only to see a gigantic sphere of darkness surrounded by various shadow forms.
Unlike regular shadow creatures, these possessed multiple colored eyes, and cannot be touched at all; nor can they harm the explorer due to his powerful magic.
The explorer wanted to see further into the sphere of darkness, only to slip through and fall into a never ending pool of darkness that envelops his entire body. Screams of agony can be heard before the dark sphere dissipates from the dark realm.
A few days later, the explorer wakes up only to find that all his gear and progress is gone. He took a look around to see that the world he's in seems... rather off... almost as if every creature is enveloped in some form of enigmatic evil bent on destroying those pure of heart. A while later, a black rift opens up and a Shadow Demon with multi-colored eyes emerges, flying off in the distance. The rift closes soon after, and the explorer pondered if opening the same rift the Demon emerged from is his key to get back home.
Later that night, the explorer notices that the world around him starts to become pitch black, to the point where he can't even see his own hands. In the distance, various gurgles, hisses, and rattles can be heard from the distance, only to find out that these creatures can see extremely well in this darkness. The explorer ran in panic, trying to find a hiding spot to avoid these dreaded creatures. He manages to find a nearby village, only for the buildings to have broken doors and every villager seems to have met their demise, along with a few zombie bodies to boot. Upon closer inspection, the explorer noticed that they had different colored eyes, similar to the Demon he saw earlier.
*What could all this mean?* The explorer wondered as he moves on from the desolated village as the sun rises once more.-
This is the journey of the explorer trying to get home from a "parallel world" infested with darkness. To get home, you must use your wit, and defeat the parallel guardians guarding access to each realm, eventually reaching to the bottom and taking that "world's" dark sphere to get back home.
Explore the areas of tech, magic, and nature to make yourself powerful enough to counteract the enveloping power of the pitch-black darkness. Be aware that monster hunting is slightly more time consuming due to the Demon's dark influences on certain monsters.
Will you succeed and get home, or will you be consumed by the darkness within?
