DinoFrontier

The official, optional modpack for the DinoFrontier server: Minecraft survival with dinosaurs. You can play without it. The pack just makes the game run better and gives you a custom main menu. Fabric, Minecraft 26.3.

The server

Survival

  • 22 species of animated dinosaurs, pterosaurs and sea reptiles, each fully modeled with its own behavior and sounds.
  • Raptors stalk the jungle, brachiosaurs wander the plains, pterosaurs circle overhead, and something large lurks under the water.
  • Custom prehistoric terrain with its own plants and landscapes to explore.
  • Hatch a baby dinosaur that follows you wherever you go.
  • Claim land with Homesteads and manage it with menus.

The Park Builder

Every player gets a floating island to build a dinosaur park on.

  • Build: place paddocks, fences, power, feeders, food stalls, restrooms, gift shops and scenery.
  • Hatch and raise dinosaurs: collect fossils on expeditions, unlock genomes, and incubate eggs. Breed healthy pairs, and keep every animal fed, watered and comfortable.
  • Run the business: set ticket prices and balance upkeep. Guest satisfaction decides your star rating, and litter lowers it, so hire janitors to keep the paths clean.
  • Expand the park: build aviaries for pterosaurs, lagoons for marine reptiles, gyrosphere rides, jeep tours and a monorail.
  • Handle emergencies: storms knock out power, and carnivores can break out of weak fences. Sedate and airlift them back before guests panic.
  • Visit other parks: open yours to visitors, leave guestbook messages, and compete for weekly awards.

What the modpack adds

  • A custom main menu: a one-click Play DinoFrontier button, plus Discord and Website buttons, with our artwork and themed buttons.
  • Quality of life: Xaero's Minimap and World Map, Zoomify, AppleSkin and Simple Voice Chat.
  • Join with a newer or older game version: ViaFabricPlus is included.
