Makes Minecraft a Bit Better
This modpack does exactly what the name says: it makes Minecraft a bit better.
Nothing crazy. No massive tech trees or magic systems. Just a ton of small improvements that add up to a game that looks nicer, runs smoother, and feels more immersive while still being very vanilla.
Big shoutout to @dimaxxing — this pack was inspired by his video:
Some mods come from there, and I added a lot more of my own picks and resource packs to improve visuals, immersion, and performance.
🌿 What this pack focuses on
Better visuals (without shaders) Mobs and players have smoother animations, armor and skin layers are 3D, leaves and grass look nicer, the sky and clouds are cleaner, and the world just feels more alive. Stuff like falling leaves, better rain, glowing ores, nicer particles, and small visual details everywhere.
Better sounds & atmosphere Footsteps sound different on each block, caves echo, rain and weather are softer, and the world feels less empty thanks to ambient sounds. It’s the kind of thing you don’t notice right away—but you really miss when it’s gone.
Better performance Even with all the visual upgrades, the pack is built to run well. Mods like Sodium, Entity Culling, FerriteCore, ModernFix, and ImmediatelyFast help keep FPS high and loading times low.
Quality-of-life stuff you’ll never want to remove Food info, better advancements, shulker previews, cleaner UI, better third person camera, nicer toasts, small UI tweaks—nothing that changes gameplay, just things that make the game less annoying and more enjoyable.
Light vanilla-friendly gameplay additions A few extras like Farmer’s Delight, FallingTree, Traveler’s Backpack, and Vanilla Refresh add depth without turning Minecraft into a different game.
🎨 Included Resource Packs
The pack comes with a bunch of resource packs already set up, including Fresh Animations (and its addons), better leaves and grass, fancy crops, glowing ores, improved fire overlay, nicer sun & moon, diagonal rails, and extra visual effects. Everything is chosen to fit vanilla and work together.
🎯 Who this pack is for
You like vanilla Minecraft, but wish it felt more modern
You want better visuals without shaders
You care about FPS and smooth gameplay
You want immersion and polish, not modpack bloat
If that sounds like you, this pack will probably feel right at home.
