Dubious Craft

Night time is unrelenting, leaving no drop of daylight wasted in search of progression. Rise to the challenge.

Mobs are MUCH more dangerous. Zombies dig at blocks, Creepers detonate to make a paths. Spiders skitter across ceilings and Skeletons snipe from the shadows. Make Silent Gear equipment from any resource you can find, wood armor is better than no armor.

Building is restricted by the laws of physics, encouraging the use of braces and columns in order to support structures. The "sky platform of safety" is a thing of the past. Use tech mods like Create to build a defensive blockade that will stand against the night's heavily enhanced hostile mobs.

Fight the physical and mental battle alike as you strive to keep your "Sanity" from draining during the grueling perpetual onslaught. The darkness is no longer an asthetic change but engulfs the player into the pitch black, turning any fight into a delayed death.

Clutch on to various trinkets and baubles found during exploration that might give you the edge needed to survive, where in any other modpack they would seem mundane.

Face a curve of true, non-artificial difficulty that forces the player to use sheer innovation and every resource at hand just to survive the first night. The goal is safety, but will true safety ever be possible when new and more powerful horrors emerge with each dusk? The only endgame in sight takes place under the sun.
